Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Growthyfai Technologies Private Limited ("we", "us"), which operates visualbooks.store, handles your personal information when you visit the site or buy an eBook. We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- At checkout (collected by Razorpay on its payment page): name, email address, phone number and payment details. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
- From Razorpay after payment: your payment ID, amount, status, name, email and phone, so we can deliver the book and handle refunds.
- Automatically: basic technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and the campaign or link you came from.
How we use it
- To process your order and email you the download link for your eBook.
- To provide support, handle refunds and prevent fraud or misuse.
- To understand which pages and ads work, so we can improve the site (aggregate analytics and advertising measurement).
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not send marketing emails unless you separately ask for them.
Who processes it for us
- Razorpay, for payments.
- Resend, to send your purchase email.
- Vercel, to host the website and the secure download.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram), for advertising measurement through the Meta Pixel and Conversions API. It receives page-view, checkout and purchase events and, for purchases, your email and phone number in hashed (one-way encrypted) form. It does not receive your payment details.
- PostHog, for product analytics and session replay (how pages are used, where visitors drop off). Form fields are masked in recordings.
These providers act on our instructions and may process data outside India under their own safeguards.
Cookies and local storage
The site uses your browser's local storage to remember the launch-offer timer for your visit, and uses cookies, the Meta Pixel and PostHog for analytics and advertising measurement. You can block these in your browser settings; the site and your purchase still work.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting purposes (generally up to 8 years). Other data is deleted when no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent, by writing to contact@visualbooks.store. We respond within 30 days. Some records must be retained by law.
Security
Payments are processed on Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant systems. Download links are signed and checked on our server. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
